Feeling drained of energy? Get your glow back easing into the year ahead with this beautiful ‘life force’ practice.

Qigong is an amazing balancing and healing practice; combining the mind, body, and breathe flowing through a series of active and dynamic movements.

Qigong naturally builds your energy levels and deeply releases stress and tension. Your body will feel flexible, sculpted and strong and your mind relaxed, clear and calm.

This class is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Mondays 5:45pm and Wednesdays at 6pm with Barney

As a passionate Yoga teacher, Barney’s aim is to share the balance and calm that yoga has brought to his life, empowering others to tune into their own mind and body, developing a feel-good practice for themselves. His teaching style is a mix of Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin. He likes to take a calming approach, allowing students space to breath into postures, whilst presenting the odd challenge or two!.

pregnancy yoga

Mondays 7:30pm with Lydia

Pregnancy Yoga at LION is a gentle, nourishing class incorporating movement, breathing techniques and relaxation. The class offers an opportunity to step out of your day-to-day life and tune in to yourself and your growing baby. It’s also a great way to meet other local pregnant women.

Yoga in pregnancy can help to improve sleep, reduce anxiety, increase strength and flexibility as well as help to prepare you for birth and motherhood.

The class is suitable from 13 weeks gestation. If you have a high-risk pregnancy, please consult with your midwife or leading clinician before attending the class.

Tuesdays 9:15am with Lydia

A gentle, vinyasa style yoga class to nourish, steady and ground you.

The class will incorporate movement, breathing techniques and relaxation.

The class is suitable for all levels of experience and ability including beginners. The practice is gentle with lots of options given and props used.



postnatal yoga

Tuesdays 10:30am with Lydia

This class is open to all levels of ability and experience. It’s a gentle vinyasa style classes with lots of opportunity for rest and relaxation. Babies are of course welcome but the focus of the class will be on you.

Suitable for mums with babies over 6 weeks (12 weeks post c-section) until your baby is on the move. Feel free to feed, change and attend to your baby at any time.

Tea and biscuits available post session.

Fridays 9:30am with Abi

Abi’s Vinyasa yoga style is fluid, feminine, strong and sensual, a balance of yang fire and yin water. She guides her classes by journeying through the fire element, creative dynamic flow, moving into a watery soft nurturing restorative space, grounding and integrating this new space, peace and clarity.

Tuesdays 6pm and Thursdays 9:30am with Julia Rose

Julia is a functional yoga teacher, with more than 1000 hours of yoga teacher training and almost 20 years of teaching experience. She guides her students through an eclectic fusion of different yoga styles, with an emphasis on correction and alignment.

Julia believes that functional movement is integral for the longevity of our bodies.

beginner pilates

Fridays 12pm with Anita

Anita’s classes are fun, dynamic, and empowering; the classes focus on you and what your body needs regarding mobility, function, strength, and flexibility.

The class will introduce you to pilates and will include both standing and mat-based movements to ensure that the exercises can be transferable to everyday life.

Anita is also a nutritionist and specialises in perimenopause and menopause nutrition with an approach that incorporates movement and lifestyle changes to enhance a women’s menopausal journey.

Wednesdays 9:30am with Rhi

A compassionate morning yoga flow in a Vinyasa style. Awaken the body through a series of fluid movements and deep stretches. This class will open, lengthen and release those tight spots in your body and prepare you for the day ahead.

This is a mixed ability class. A regular yoga practice is recommended. Class ends with blissful relaxation to leave you feeling amazing!
